"Animal Instinct" is a second single from The Cranberries' fourth record "Bury The Hatchet", 1999. The single didn't chart in the UK, but it did chart in Austria, France, and many others. The lyrics were written by Dolores O'Riordan in 1997 when she gave birth to her first child. The music was written by Noel Hogan and Dolores O'Riordan. The song is one of the band's most recognizable songs and it's considered The Cranberries' classic.
