The undertow Carries me from the darkest depths of the uncharted forest The ebb and flow of its glassy rivers have come to set me free From the enveloping claws of my so called brothers I have left their grasp, found within myself An unknown sense of identity Our brethren we left behind Now constantly murmuring of our transgressions And i could not be happier with you The silent one we share with none in our thoughts Having realised the numb and i could not be happier with you The silent one we share with none, thoughtlessness of those we both Left behind Just i, Prometheus and you Gaia left to survive In the wonderfully serene landscape that you have offered me And as we grow and learn i slowly realise, in retrospect The years of struggle now strike me as the most beautiful of my life All my life that may amount to And all that i have become I owe to the shine in your eyes The lumination that weaves its way into the darkest depths of my Mind If we ever succumb so deeply to another's words I hope that then your restoration would not be an afterthought
