Equinox (1975)

Wiki:

One of their earlier charting songs, just before the Chicago based group burst out. The only succesful single from their fifth album, Equinox. The song as well as the rest of the album signaled a change in the group’s music, from their Progressive Rock beginnings to the more commercial (and successful) sound.

Lorelei lyrics Styx {Intro} [Verse 1] When I think of Lorelei, my head turns all around As gentle as a butterfly, she moves without a sound I call her on the telephone, she says be there by eight Tonight's the night she's movin' in and I can hardly wait [Pre-Chorus] The way she moves, ooh-ooh-ooh, I gotta say [Chorus] Lorelei, let's live together Brighter than the stars, forever Lorelei, let's live together Brighter than the stars, forever Oh baby, forever {Bridge} [Verse 2] Her eyes become a paradise, she softly speaks my name She brightens every lonely night, no one's quite the same She calls me on the telephone, she says be there by eight Tonight's the night she's movin' in, it's time to celebrate [Pre-Chorus] The way she moves, ooh-ooh-ooh, I gotta say [Chorus] Lorelei, let's live together Brighter than the stars, forever Lorelei, let's live together Brighter than the stars, forever Baby, baby, forever [Chorus] Lorelei, let's live together (Lorelei, let's live together) Brighter than the stars, forever (Brighter than the stars, forever) Lorelei, let's live together (Lorelei, let's live together) Brighter than the stars, forever (Brighter than the stars, forever) Lorelei, let's live together (Lorelei, let's live together) Brighter than the stars, forever (Brighter than the stars, forever) Lorelei, let's live together (Lorelei, let's live together) Brighter than the stars, forever (Brighter than the stars, forever) Lorelei, let's live together (Lorelei, let's live together) {Outro} Produced By John Curulewski, Chuck Panozzo, John Panozzo, James Young & Dennis DeYoung Written By James Young & Dennis DeYoung Release Date March 1976
