From 1987 album 'Night Of Desirable Objects' Philip Charles Lithman (June 17th 1949 – July 1st 1987), who performed under the stage name Snakefinger, was an English musician, singer and songwriter. A multi-instrumentalist, Lithman was best known for his unique guitar and violin work, and his many collaborations with his long-time friends The Residents.
