Wiki:

Featuring the haunting vocals of Karin Dreijer— from the Swedish electronica duo The knife, also known for her solo work as Fever Ray — spawns the third single from Norwegian duo Röyksopp's album The Understanding. The music video was directed by Martin De Thurah, the CADS Music Vision Award winner for the best new Director, 2005. It features Norwegian model Marianne Schröder with a cameo by Karin. Beneath the sound of Karin's distinctive singing, lies the story of a restless spirit, who was victim to a car accident. In the video, Schröder illustrates the ghost of the victim, haunting the roads. Eventually she tracks down the driver who hit her, to acknowledge her presence and share her story. The song contains a sample from Love Me, Love The Life I Lead by The Drifters and another sample taken from Kill Me With Your Love performed by Jericho.

It was me on that road But you couldn't see me Too many lights out, but nowhere near here It was me on that road Still you couldn't see me And then flash lights and explosions Road's end getting nearer We cover distance, but not together I am the storm and I am the wonder And the flashlights, nightmares And sudden explosions [Hook] I don't know what more to ask for I was given just one wish It's about you and the sun A morning run The story of my maker What I have and what I ache for I've got a golden ear I cut and I spear But what else is there? Roads and getting nearer We cover distance, still not together If I am the storm, if I am the wonder Will I have flashlights, nightmares And sudden explosion? There's no room where I can go and You've got secrets too [Hook] I don't know what more to ask for I was given just one wish
