Wiki:

"Better Man" is a song by American alternative rock group Pearl Jam which rocks from their 1994 album Vitalogy. It was a major hit on American rock, alternative and pop radio. Since the band did not release it as a retail single in the United States, it was inelligible for the Billboard Hot 100 due to the rules at the time. Nonetheless, it was one of the band's biggest pop radio hits - second only to "Last Kiss" - hitting #13 on Billboard's Pop Radio Airplay chart, along with hitting #1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #2 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.

[Verse 1] Waitin', watchin' the clock It's four o'clock It's got to stop Tell him "Take no more" She practices her speech as he opens the door She rolls over Pretends to sleep as he looks her over [Hook] She lies and says she's in love with him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Oh [Verse 2] Talking to herself "There's no one else who needs to know" She tells herself Memories back when she was bold and strong And waiting for the world to come along Swears she knew him, now she swears he's gone [Hook] She lies and says she's in love with him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man She lies and says she still loves him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man [Bridge] She loved him, yeah She don't want to leave this way She feeds him, yeah That's why she'll be back again [Hook] Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man) Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man) Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man) Can't find a better man
