Say Something

"Say Something" is the lead single from Kylie Minogue's 15th studio album, Disco, and was released 23 July 2020. The song premiered on BBC Radio 2 on its release day, during The Zoë Ball Breakfast Show. Kylie co-wrote the song with Jonathan Green, Ash Howes, and Richard "Biff" Stannard, and has said that the song "is about all of our eternal quest for love and the searching and knowing that there's something or someone out there that you can relate to and makes you a better person." The song received acclaim from music critics, with many commending its disco production and upbeat chorus. Commercially, the song reached number 82 on the UK Singles Chart and entered the top 40 in Hungary and Scotland. The accompanying music video for "Say Something" was directed by Sophie Muller and was filmed in London, England. It shows Minogue travelling through space whilst mounted upon a golden horse sculpture.
