Released the afternoon of October 20th, the band posted on their twitter Including a link to the raw audio and video files for Automation. Calling it a “Mega DIY project,” the band told fans to remix and edit their own music videos with the provided files. Automation was officially released on streaming services on October 21st, 2020 A demo for Automation appears in the side-album Demos Vol. 1 + Vol. 2; however, it follows the musical style of Infest the Rat’s Nest rather than K.G. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is a psychedelic rock band from Melbourne, Australia formed in 2010 originally as a one-off when they played together at a party. The members are: Stu Mackenzie (vocals, guitars, flute, zurna, keyboards), Joey Walker (guitars, sitar, vocals), Cook Craig (guitars, vocals, bass, keyboards), Ambrose Kenny-Smith (harmonica, vocals, keyboards), Lucas Harwood (né Skinner) (bass, keyboards), Michael Cavanagh (drums), and until late 2020, Eric Moore (drums, percussion, theremin).
