"Days Go By" is a song by the band Dirty Vegas from their eponymous album. The song became a radio hit in 2002, peaking at #14 in the U.S., and received the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. "Days Go By" received significant public exposure in a commercial for the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The music video for the song is unusual in that it largely consists of two dancers representing one character performing a routine of popping, locking, the robot and breakdancing in front of a restaurant in East Los Angeles, California. The video was also filmed there. The young dancer in the video is Garland Spencer. The older dancer is Byron McIntyre.
Lyrics:
[Verse 1] You You You are still a whisper on my lips A feeling at my fingertips That's pulling at my skin You leave me when I'm at my worst A feeling as if I've been cursed Bitter cold within [Chorus] Days go by and still I think of you Days when I couldn't live my life without you Days go by and still I think of you Days when I couldn't live my life without you Without you Without you [Verse 2] You are still a whisper on my lips A feeling at my fingertips That's pulling at my skin You leave me when I'm at my worst A feeling as if I've been cursed Bitter cold within [Chorus] Days go by and still I think of you Days when I couldn't live my life without you Without you Without you [Outro] Days go by and still I think of you Days when I couldn't live my life without you Days go by and still I think of you Days when I couldn't live my life without you Without you Without you Without you Without you Without you
