“Apple” is the eleventh track on Charli XCX’s sixth studio album, BRAT, releasing on June 7, 2024. On September 8, 2023, Charli posted a photo of a notebook with lyrics to “Apple” (called “The Apple” at the time). On April 2, 2024, Charli announced the song and confirmed that it would appear on BRAT via a voice memo sent to a small number of fans. This is the second official coproducer credit linked to Charli XCX, with “In The City”, a song featuring Sam Smith, released in October 19, 2023 being the first one.
